DC Palter

DC Palter has been a Silicon Valley entrepreneur and investor for over two decades, but his passion has always been writing. His short fiction has appeared in more than a dozen literary magazines while his articles on technology have been published widely. A fluent Japanese speaker, he is the author of Colloquial Kansai Japanese, (Tuttle Publishing, 3rd Printing 2006), the leading guidebook to the Osaka dialect, and served as the fiction editor of the Abiko Quarterly, the largest English-language literary magazine in Japan. He is also the author of a popular series on startup funding published on Medium and collected on pitchingangels.com. Palter has earned an MFA in creative writing, an MBA in technology marketing, and a Masters in Law to complement his background in engineering. He currently lives in the Silicon Beach area of Los Angeles where he mentors new startups while writing tech-centric mysteries.
